TalithaKum International Kenya
In 2016, TIK-RAHT began in Kenya during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. It was initiated by a collective effort of consecrated religious, lay women, and men. Inspired by Pope Francis’ call to embody acts of mercy, particularly the corporal works of mercy, the organization focuses on reaching out to and assisting those who reside on the margins of society.
“Human trafficking is a crime against humanity. We must unite our efforts to free victims and stop this crime that’s become ever more aggressive, that threatens not just individuals, but the foundational values of society.
Pope Francis
